Influences such as Gang of Four, Fugazi, the Slits, LCD Soundsystem, Gossip, and the likes come to mind, manifested in the form of chopped guitar riffs and licks intertwined with thumping groovy bass lines, and all glued together by a drum performance so uplifting it might wake the dead. The instrumentals are punctuated by ferociously uncompromising, yet thoroughly gracious female vocals, blasting away razor-sharp verses on fallen idols, malevolent politicians, false saviors, and overly-restrictive governments.
